What times are the boat trips?
For our pre-booked boat tours we leave port at the following times:
10am - 1pm
2pm - 5pm
6pm - 9pm
Where is Kinsale?
Kinsale a historic port and fishing town in County Cork, Ireland. Located approximately 25 km (16 mi) south of Cork City on the southeast coast near the Old Head of Kinsale, it sits at the mouth of the River Bandon, and has a population of 5,281 (as of the 2016 census) which increases in the summer when tourism peaks. Kinsale is a holiday destination for both Irish and overseas tourists. The town is known for its restaurants, including the Michelin-starred Bastion restaurant, and holds a number of annual gourmet food festivals.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR ON BOARD?
We suggest that all guests wear casual and comfortable clothing on board. We recommend wearing sunscreen, a hat and sun glasses when the weather is hot. Bring some layers such as a cardigan or rain jacket if the weather is a little temperamental.
Do i need to wear a life jacket?
Life-jackets are available on board for all ages.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Our Captain will be in touch before your cruise in the event that the weather is too poor to embark. As we cruise the safety of the harbour and the Bandon River, we are not effected by rough weather in open seas. In the unlikely event that your cruise is cancelled, we will be able to arrange another date or provide a refund.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
Yes, you are most welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks onboard.
Can I arrange the boat to provide food?
Yes, we can arrange a food hamper for you and your loved ones. This will have to be arranged ahead of schedule with us. We can provide a food hamper of your taste from one of Kinsale's many gourmet restaurants.
How long is each cruise?
Each cruise is approximately three hours in duration.
Is the cruise suitable for families?
Yes, our cruises are very family friendly with activities catered for the very young to mature adults.
